How Korean/English Typos Happen

Korean input methods toggle between Korean and English with a dedicated key (한/영 or Right-Alt). Forgetting to switch produces text that looks like gibberish in one language but is perfectly readable once reinterpreted through the other language's key mapping on the same physical keys.

Both Directions

Use English → Korean to decode gibberish you (or someone else) typed by accident, or Korean → English to see which physical keys to press to type a given Korean word — handy for remembering or teaching 2-beolsik key positions.
